Paula de los Reyes

About the Author

Tangled among her different moods, Paula de los Reyes finds joy in putting her thoughts into something visual. She always brings a notebook (to scribble in) with her, but admits that she gets a kick from writing in scratch paper (such as the back of receipts) and tissue paper (like when you're lasing already and you have surges of bright ideas). She says that as soon as an idea presents itself, you should never take it for granted.

The author is a fan of 120 film (which she diligently buys from Quiapo), and baking from scratch instead of buying from a pastry shop / cafe. She is not a fan of photo shop, and uses the MS photo editor to edit  her photos. And by edit, she only means crop.

In between writing, she reads, plays sudoku, travels, shoots, cooks, takes long walks, craves for Kozui takoyaki, and goes to her copywriting job. On Sundays she plays pusoy dos and tong its with her sisters. On some Saturdays she plays mahjong with her aunts and lola.

Her list of writers include Jessica Zafra, F Sionil Jose, Neil Gaiman, Ayn Rand, and Bill Watterson. She has already stalked Zafra in Rockwell, but she'd sacrifice anything just to talk to Sionil.

If there are two things in life that frustrate her, those would be love and going to med school.

This blog is a collection of musings, weird dreams, poetry, short stories, and photos by the author. Music videos are also uploaded every once in a while.
